This Privacy Policy describes how StockLynx Warehouse (“the App”) processes information when used as part of the StockLynx warehouse and logistics platform.
The App is provided by Code IT SIA, registered at “Vismaņi k-5”, Mārupes pag., Mārupes nov., LV-2167 (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
StockLynx Warehouse is intended primarily for authorized business users and is not a standalone consumer service. Access to the App requires an authorized StockLynx account and access to a compatible StockLynx server environment.
1. Information processed by the App
The App may process account information such as username, user name and authentication/session information.
When a user signs in, the App may also transmit device-related information required for session and device management, including a device identifier and device name.
The App processes warehouse and logistics information necessary for its functionality. This may include products, product identifiers, GTIN and UDI information, batch or lot numbers, expiry dates, incoming and outgoing waybills, shipments, boxes, delivery information, addresses and related operational records.
Shipment workflows may include business contact information such as company name, registration number, delivery address, contact person, telephone number and email address.
Where the photo functionality is used, the App processes photographs captured by the user, including product or document photographs, together with related identifiers such as product, waybill and waybill row information.
Barcode and UDI scan results may also be processed in order to identify products, shipments and other warehouse records.
2. How information is used
Information processed by StockLynx Warehouse is used only to provide and support the application’s warehouse and logistics functionality.
This includes authenticating users, synchronizing warehouse data, identifying products and waybills, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing deliveries, recording product photographs, printing supported labels, maintaining operational records and providing other StockLynx functions made available to the user’s organization.
We do not use information collected through StockLynx Warehouse for behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal data.
3. Data transmission and server storage
Operational data is exchanged between the App and the organization’s StockLynx server environment.
Communication with the StockLynx API is performed using authenticated HTTPS connections.
Information submitted through the App, including photographs and shipment information, may be stored on StockLynx servers and associated systems as required to provide the service and maintain business records.
Some data required for offline or efficient operation may also be stored locally on the device, including synchronized warehouse records and authentication/session information.
4. Photographs and camera use
The App allows authorized users to capture photographs for supported business workflows.
Photo capture is initiated by the user. Depending on the device configuration, the App may use the device’s camera application to capture the image.
Captured images may be temporarily stored in the App’s local cache while they are being reviewed or uploaded. Temporary image files are removed when they are no longer required for the upload or capture process.
Approved photographs are uploaded to the StockLynx server and associated with the relevant product, waybill or other business record.
5. Device identifiers and enterprise device functionality
The App may process a device identifier and device name for authentication, session management and security purposes.
On supported Zebra enterprise devices, the App may communicate with Zebra DataWedge or other device functionality required for barcode scanning and warehouse operations.
Such device functionality is used only to support the features provided by StockLynx Warehouse.
6. Sharing of information
StockLynx Warehouse does not share personal or operational data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers acting on our behalf where this is necessary to operate the StockLynx service.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, regulation, court order or another legally binding request.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by StockLynx Warehouse.
These measures include authenticated access to the StockLynx service and encrypted HTTPS communication between the App and the server.
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and for using the App only on authorized devices.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can provide absolute security, but we take appropriate measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
8. Data retention
Business and operational records are retained for as long as required to provide the StockLynx service, support the organization’s business processes, meet contractual requirements and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Authentication and locally synchronized information may remain on the device while required for the App to function.
Temporary files, such as photographs awaiting upload, are retained only for as long as necessary to complete the relevant operation.
Retention periods for records stored on StockLynx servers may depend on the organization using the service and the applicable legal requirements.
9. Data correction and deletion
StockLynx user accounts are normally created and managed by the organization using the StockLynx service rather than created directly through the App.
Users who wish to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data should contact their organization’s StockLynx administrator or contact us using the details below.
Deletion requests may be subject to legal, regulatory or legitimate business record-retention requirements. Where information must be retained by law or as part of required business records, it may not be possible to delete it immediately.
10. Children
StockLynx Warehouse is a business application and is not directed to children.
The App is intended for authorized users performing professional warehouse, logistics or related business activities.
11. International processing
Depending on the infrastructure used by the organization, information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions other than the user’s current location.
Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable data protection law.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its functionality or applicable legal requirements change.
The latest version will be made available at the Privacy Policy URL provided in Google Play and within the App.
The effective date shown at the top of this document indicates when the Policy was last updated.
